Princess Charlotte Morningstar, better known as Charlie Morningstar is the main protagonist of the adult animated series Hazbin Hotel.
What Makes Her a Shojo Heroine?[]
Heroic/Honorable: Founded the Hazbin Hotel with the intention of redeeming sinner demons so they can ascend to Heaven, and lead a last stand against the Exorcists when they arrived to exterminate Hell.
Kind/Gentle: Extremely kind and is willing to help anyone, including accepting Sir Pentious to the Hotel with open arms even after it was revealed to be a mole.
Bubbly: Super cheerful and excitable, is also very prone to singing.
Compassionate: Charlie is very empathetic, a notable example is how she reacted once she knew about Angel Dust's situation with Valentino.
Naive: Her kindness is usually deconstructed which leads to her being unable to pick up some cues and getting tricked pretty easily.
Has a Crush on Someone: Very in-love with her girlfriend Vaggie.
Optimistic: Charlie always looks at the bright side, and believes anyone can become a better person with the right push.
Idealistic: In spite of the fact that Hell is a place filled with terrible people, Charlie willingly decides to give them all a second chance and grants them the opportunity to prove that they can change themselves to become more moral and kind people.
Determined: Even learning that the extermination is going to be moved up, and seeing Adam tell her to her face that he plans to target the hotel first in a month, doesn't cause her to lose all hope and she instead rallies Cannibal Town to help protect the hotel.
Romantic: Helping Vaggie upon finding her injured led to the two of them entering a romantic relationship.
Believes in the Power of Friendship/Love: Thinks love is the most beautiful thing, and a good part of why she believes they can face the Exorcists is because they are all fighting for something they truly value, whether is it someone special or Hell itself.
Wears Bright Colours: She wears a light red suit, and has a very bright colour palette in general.
Long Hair: Has a very long blonde hair.
Insecure: Constantly doubts herself and is very quick to blame herself whenever something goes wrong.
Pacifistic: Talks Lucifer out of killing Adam even though he had just killed one of her best friends and destroyed her passion project before her eyes.
Magical: Fights off the exorcists using magic fireworks and transforms into her true form in the same vein as many magical girls in anime after seeing Sir Pentious being vaporized by Adam.
Is a Cutie: An adorable, effervescent, joyful young woman who loves rainbows, puppies, and singing.
