Edward Scissorhands is the titular main protagonist of the 1990 film of the same name.
He was portrayed by Johnny Depp, who also portrayed Victor Van Dort in Corpse Bride.
What Makes Him A Shojo Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Saves Kevin from Jim's rampage and later kills Jim to save Kim.
- Kind/Gentle: He is extremely kind to everyone.
- Compassionate: Towards Kim at least.
- Clumsy: While he doesn't directly drop anything or doesn't do anything sort of that, he has problems due to having scissors instead of hands.
- Socially Awkward: He isn't much socialised. That causes much trouble.
- Naive/Absent-Minded: He was naive enough to partake in a burglary.
- Has a Crush on Someone: On Kim.
- Innocent: Is as innocent as a cyborg can ever be.
- Sensitive: Even when he is pursued by the angered people, he still asks if he hurt Kevin.
- Romantic: Towards Kim.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship/Love: He definitely loves Kim.
- Possesses Plot Armor: No matter how dangerous will Jim's attacks be, Edward will survive.
- Insecure: He is.
- Pacifistic: A good example of him meeting this trait is his final battle with Jim. Jim hurt him a lot, but Edward didn't even try to defend himself. But only when Jim attacked Kim, Edward killed Jim.
- Is a Cutie: Kim sees him as such.
