Kirby is the titular main protagonist of the Kirby franchise. He is a cute pink puffball who likes to eat, make friends, and save Planet Popstar, and sometimes the entire universe from the forces of evil.
What Makes Him A Shojo Hero?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Saved Planet Popstar from all types of forces of evil with the help of his friends.
- Kind/Gentle: Extremely nice and loyal to his friends, even to the point of naivety.
- Compassionate: Has a high sense of empathy, which is why he wanted to help Magolor in the first place when his ship, the Lor Starcutter crashed.
- Socially Awkward: Counts, as he decided to give Dedede a beating after thinking he stole his cake.
- Naive/Absent Minded: Can be distracted by food, which led to him releasing Dark Nebula. Also naive because he was easily tricked by Marx and Magolor into helping with their schemes for power.
- Has A Crush On Someone: Blushes after getting kissed by Ribbon in Kirby 64.
- Optimistic: Is always shown to be a cheerful pink guy who is always happy to help any friend in need of his help.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship: Strongly. There's an entire game themed around this aspect of Kirby called Kirby Star Allies. Even then, Kirby believes in the power of friendship as shown in other games, like when he volunteered to help Magolor, whose ship crashed. He'd also go out of his way to help him with obtaining the Master Crown.
- Possesses Plot Armor: Don't tell me that defeating Fecto Elfilis as a truck Mouthful is not plot armor.
- Has A Sweet Tooth: A given, for he likes eating any food in general, but he is often seen eating cakes more than anything else.
- Magical: Kirby can copy the abilities of the enemies he eats (and eating them can be made easier by inhaling them).
