Lisa Simpson is one of the two tritagonists of The Simpsons. She is voiced by Yeardley Smith.

What Makes Her a Shojo Heroine?[]

Heroic/Honorable: Lisa uncovered Sideshow Bob's plan to kill her brother Bart and saved him.
Kind/Gentle: While she can be jerkish at times, Lisa is a gentle young girl who treats most people around her with genuine respect.
Compassionate: Lisa is very empathetic to the point of becoming a vegetarian because she views eating animals as inhumane.
Socially Awkward: Due to being much more intelligent than her peers, Lisa has a hard time connecting with kids around her age unless they are as intelligent and/or have similar interests as her.
Naive: Despite her genius IQ and due to being a kid, Lisa can be easily manipulated by more cunning and manipulative characters.
Has a Crush on Someone: Throughout the series, Lisa has many crushes on various male characters, going as far as to marry Milhouse Van Houten in the future in various timelines despite viewing him as a nuisance when they were kids.
Optimistic: While she can fall into depression at times, Lisa manages to stay positive.
Wears Bright Colors: Lisa is recognized by her bright orange dress.
Insecure: Due to being treated like an outcast by most people around her due to her intelligence, Lisa can sometimes have low confidence within herself.
Is a Crybaby: When something goes wrong, Lisa is quick to cry over it.
