May is a character of Guilty Gear series.
What Makes Her a Shojo Heroine?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: May attempts to rescue Johnny, her captain and savior, from prison. She later stands up against Ramlethal Valentine for the latter's declaration of war on the world.
- Bubbly: May is infectious energetic, and she tends to act first and think later.
- Clumsy: May has moves which shows her clumsiness.
- Naive/Absent-Minded: May is described as being childish in her way of thinking.
- Has a Crush on Someone: May has complicated feeling for Johnny as she views Johnny as part father figure, part brother, and perhaps even part boyfriend.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship/Love: May initially runs away from the ship because she does not want to cause harm to the members of Jellyfish Pirates, but she eventually reunites with them and receives their support.
- Wears Bright Colors: May's usual outfit includes an orange coat, big orange boots, and an orange pirate tricorn hat.
