Mitsuri Kanroji is a major character in the anime/manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
She is voiced by Kana Hanazawa in Japanese and Kira Buckland in the English dub.
What Makes Her a Shojo Heroine?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Mitsuri plays a significant role in defeating the demons and has never been shown to enjoy killing her enemies.
- Kind/Gentle: Quite true to her title as Love Hashira, Mitsuri is known for her gentle personality, and displays extreme kindness toward everybody.
- Compassionate: Mitsuri is quite compassionate, being one of the first two Hashira (alongside Giyu) to fully accept the Kamado siblings.
- Clumsy: Although mostly played for laughs, Mitsuri has been shown to be rather awkward throughout the series.
- Absent-Minded: While still rather competent compared to other characters, Mitsuri is easily the least intelligent of the Hashira.
- Has a Crush on Someone: While Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro is known for his crush on her, Mitsuri secretly reciprocated his feelings toward her.
- Optimstic: Unlike most Hashira, who have become rather pessimistic due to their experience, Mitsuri keeps an optimistic attitude.
- Has a Sweet Tooth: While she possesses a massive appetite, Mitsuri has a special fondness for sakuramochi to the point eating too much of it changes her hair color.
- Wears Bright Colors: Wears a white haori and green socks.
- Long Hair: Mitsuri has long hair.
- Unnatural Hair Color: Pink and green.
- Insecure: Mitsuri used to be rather insecure of her strength due to being seen as a freak by her peers as a child until meeting Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who told her to fully embrace her strength and see it as a gift.
