Rapunzel is the main protagonist of Disney's Tangled franchise. She is based on the famous fairy tale character of the same name.
She was voiced by the singer, Mandy Moore, while Delaney Rose Stein voiced her as a child in the movie, then while Ivy George voiced her as a child in the TV series, then by Kelsey Lansdowne in Kingdom Hearts III and Disney Comics in Motion.
What Makes Her a Shojo Heroine?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Rapunzel has save all of the citizens of Corona from being destroyed by the evil Zhan Tiri.

- Has a Crush on Someone: Though she didn't warm up to Eugene right away, Rapunzel eventually develop feelings for him.
- Optimistic: Regardless of her circumstances, Rapunzel makes the best of the moments.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship/Love: Rapunzel brings Eugene back to life with a tear after singing Flower Beam and Bloom and defeated Zhan Tiri alongside Eugene and Cassandra.
- Long Hair: Rapunzel is iconic for her 70ft long hair.
- Wears Bright Colors: Rapunzel's main outfit is a pink dress.
