Shuichi Saihara is the main protagonist of the 2017 Japanese visual novel game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. He is titled the Ultimate Detective. He is originally voiced by Megumi Hayashibara but is voiced by Grant George in the English dub.
What Makes Him A Shojo Hero?[]
- Heroic: He did a ton of heroic things throughout the game. He solved every case, resulting in spotless students surviving; he put an end to Team Danganronpa and the killing game itself.
- Kind/gentle: He is a nice guy without any corrupting qualities.
- Compassionate: He even felt sympathy for Miu Iruma when she died, although she was a huge jerk.
- Socially Awkward: He wore a hat to hide his face and he stands out for being rather submissive.
- Sensitive: He got offended when Miu suspected him of being a pervert for wearing a cap.
- Determined: To end the killing game.
- Plot Armour: While Danganronpa is not a franchise noted for plot armour (It has roughly as much plot armour as in Death Note), Shuichi survives the killing game despite being at risk (His talent is being a detective and a culprit could choose to kill a detective for an advantage).
- Unnatural Hair colour: He is from an anime-ish game, so you would expect him to have an odd hair colour. To be specific, his hair is a tealish blue which is anything but a natural hair colour.
- Insecure: He often doubts himself and is a pessimist.
