Unikitty is a half-unicorn and half-kitten (hence her name) who a major character of The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, and the titular main protagonist of the TV show of the same name. She wants to help Emmet Brickowski, Wyldstyle, Batman, Benny, Metalbeard, and Vitruvius to save the Lego world from the Evil Lord Business.
She is voiced by Alison Brie in the films, The Lego Movie: 4D – A New Adventure, and LEGO Dimensions, Jessica DiCicco in The LEGO Movie Videogame, and Tara Strong in the TV series.
What Makes Her a Shojo Heroine?[]
- Heroic/Honorable: Helps Emmet defeat Lord Business and Rex Dangervest, while also protecting her Unikingdom (in TV series) from her own enemies like Master Frown and others.
- Kind/Gentle: She is all-loving hero, who is friendly to everyone, even trying to be friends with her enemies at first.
- Bubbly: She loves having fun with friends and is also very energetic.
- Compassionate: She is shown to express sympathy towards others, like expressing sadness over someone's tragic backstory.
- Naive/Absent-Minded: Sometimes she makes stupid decisions only to make things better.
- Optimistic: She is very optimistic and want to spread happiness across the universe.
- Believes in the Power of Friendship/Love: Believes, that they're stronger together, especially with Emmet's gang and her own.
- Possesses Plot Armor: She survives her home Cloud Cuckoo-Land getting destroyed, helps Emmet with defeating Lord Business, as well as facing similar things in the sequel and her own show.
- Has a Sweet Tooth: According to her quotes, she likes sweets.
- Wears Bright Colors: If she wears clothes, she wears bright ones.
- Unnatural Hair Color: She has bright pink fur with yellow hind paws and light blue front paws. If she expresses emotions, her fur color changes (like blue for sadness, red for anger or green for disgust).
- Is a Crybaby: She is shown to be prone to almost every emotion, especially anger and sadness and of course... crying a lot in TV series. While mostly by expressing sadness over someone's tragedy, sometimes Unikitty cries for no serious reason. Her extreme crying was even a Chekhov's gun thrice.
